McCarey's other works include: DUCK SOUP, MAKE WAY FOR TOMORROW, THE AWFUL TRUTH, THE BELLS OF ST. MARY'S, and RALLY ROUND THE FLAG BOYS. NOTES & TRIVA Frank Butler and Frank Cavett received the Screenplay Oscar. While Leo McCarey (the producer and director) received the Writing Oscar for Original Story. The Oscar winning song, "Swiinging On a Star" was by James Van Heusen and lyrics by Johnny Burke. Other memorable songs include Crosby's rendition of "Too-ra-loo-ra-loo-ra".
